How to Delete Your Account
As a seller on Wasit, you can delete your account and all associated data directly from the Seller Hub:
- Log in to the Seller Hub
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click Delete Account
This schedules your account for deletion with a 30-day grace period. During this period:
- Your store will be deactivated and hidden from customers
- You can cancel the deletion at any time simply by logging back in — your account will be fully restored
- After 30 days, the deletion becomes permanent and cannot be reversed
What Gets Deleted
- Your account and login credentials
- Your store information, branding, and subdomain
- Your product listings and media
- Any linked social login connections (Google, Facebook)
What We Retain
Certain records are retained as required by law:
- Financial records (orders, payouts, commissions): retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance
- Fraud prevention data: retained for up to 3 years
Retained records are anonymized where possible and are not used for marketing or profiling.
Facebook Data
If you signed in using Facebook, deleting your account will remove the connection between your Facebook account and Wasit. No data from your Facebook profile is retained after deletion.
